Water Heater Category - This field describes the various Water Heater categories available. They are available in the drop down box. Select one from the list.

Capacity - The capacity of the water heater. Units are displayed in the cell.

Input Rate - The power rating of the water heater in the appropriate units displayed.

Draw Pattern - Allows you to choose the draw pattern used by the Water Heater. For 2020 code choose the draw pattern for older code calculations use the ‘Any’ option.

Efficiency - The efficiency of the water heater between 0 and 1, entered as a decimal (between 0 and 1).

Loss - The loss in the appropriate unit displayed.

Compliance - Shows whether water heater complies with code or not.

Note: Not all inputs may be required for all water heater types.
